The standard MAF charter is a one-way or single leg charter.  This means that the price given at the time a reservation is made covers travel from point A to point B.  The flight leg before or after the charter is a positioning leg and may be connected to another charter flight to the same airstrip or a different airstrip.  If the customer would like to use the positioning leg of the flight MAF needs to be made aware of this at the time the reservation is made.

For customers who would like the full use of the airplane for both legs of flight there is a 35% surcharge in addition to the price of the charter.  MAF encourages organizations to take advantage of this policy to avoid paying for two full charters at different times.  For example a customer may charter a flight one-way for $300.  If they choose to use both legs of the flight the total cost will be $405 with the surcharge.  A customer can also reserve a standby seat* on the positioning leg of a flight for just one passenger and 50lbs of luggage.

*standby seats are subject to cancellation if the original charter flight is canceled.
